Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings
A £75 deposit is required to reserve your date. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. We accept cash, card (by phone, chip & pin or online) and bank transfer. The final balance is due on or before the day of your event. Corporate bookings require a 25% deposit, with the remainder due within 7 days. Gamezone reserves the right to cancel bookings in circumstances outside our control, such as extremely bad weather or staff illness — in these cases we will always offer to rearrange your booking.
2. On-site requirements
The organiser must ensure adequate flat parking of around 8 metres in length, safe access, and cover any parking fees. If the van cannot be positioned safely, we may be unable to run the event and no refund will be due. Maximum 10 gamers at a time, minimum age 7. We accept no responsibility for any damage to driveways.
3. Power
One standard plug socket is required within 25 metres of the van.
4. Age-appropriate gaming
We follow PEGI age ratings. If you’d like to restrict any games for your group, let the organiser tell our host and we’ll set the van up accordingly.
5. Behaviour
Any damage caused by misconduct will be billed to the event organiser. We won’t tolerate bad language, or threatening or aggressive behaviour towards our staff, and reserve the right to end a session where it occurs.
6. Safety
Guests enter and exit the van at their own risk. No food, drink, smoking or vaping inside the van. All staff are DBS checked and we hold £5m public liability insurance (documentation available on request). A small number of games feature flashing images — we accept no responsibility for photosensitive incidents.
7. Photography
Photos and videos taken at events may be used for advertising unless you tell us you’d rather they weren’t — just let us know.
8. Internet
The van carries its own private 4G connection. If signal is poor at your location, our hosts will prioritise offline gaming so the party never stops.
9. Terms of use
Hire covers private use of the van and equipment for one-off events. Your deposit covers the van and all on-board equipment for the duration of your session.
